Place lucky or prosperity bamboo in the southeast corner of your house for lasting and growing income. As it becomes larger, place it in the East for good family relationships. Replace with a new, small plant in the southeast, which symbolizes “growing” chi. Select a bamboo with four or eight canes. 2. Remove plants from the center of the house. This area is ruled by the earth and you will lose income if there are plants here. Plants are very beneficial in the East and Southeast portions of the house and living room, but their energy in the middle of the house is draining. 3. Frogs and toads mean money. Place a toad or frog figurine or statue at your front door to invite money in. Their “moneybag” shape is very auspicious. Have the toad on the floor, looking at the door as it opens. 4. Sleep on money. Select a porcelain bowl that you find very pleasing and beautiful. Fill it with rice. Next, place amethyst crystals or other semi-precious stones in the rice (after they have been cleansed with rain water from a thunder shower) under the bed. This brings wealth to your home while you sleep! Or, sleep over the family silver, stock certificates, or any other representations of wealth. This means you are “on top” of your finances. 5. Place a “wealth bowl” in the center of the house. This bowl should be beautiful, made of porcelain and be filled with many kinds of precious or semi-precious stones. These can include “faux” diamonds. Although they are fake, their symbolism is strong — and best of all — you are capitalizing on the earth energy of the center of the house with the earth energy of the stones! 6. Paint your door black. Black doors invite money to come in. That’s because black is the color of money. Actual money might come in as well as opportunities – a promotion, a new job offer! Watch out, though, because black doors are POWERFUL! 7. Grow your wealth and business in the Southeast corner of your home. If you have an interest in wealth building or business, place books about such matters, business documents and information in this sector. This is the “growing” sector of the house. If the Southeast is afflicted with a bathroom, place these items in the SE sector of the living room instead. 8. Protecting yourself protects your wealth. Plant red flowers on either side of the door if your house faces South to protect you. Otherwise, you can place lions at the front of the house, either flanking the door, or as a lion door knocker. Drive successfully. Using your kua number, drive a car that is suited for your element. For instance, if you are a wood element, select a green, brown, or purple car. Because water produces wood, black or blue cars would also be appropriate. If your number is 6, you are metal. Select cars that are white, grey, gold, or silver. Place beautiful posters or artwork of sailing ships by the front door, the entrance to your office, or the entrance to your living room. Make them appear to be sailing IN to the house. These represent money and wealth coming into your home. 11. Reflect wealth. If you have a fountain in the southeast wealth sector, either inside or outside, place a mirror so that the fountain is reflected, thereby doubling the wealth! The same is true if you have a beautiful body of water in front of the house, such as a lake or ocean. Use a mirror to bring its beauty into your house! 12. Clutter drains prosperity. Look in the southeast corners of every room. Make sure these areas are as clean and clear of clutter as possible. This sector in each room is responsible for more growth and the arrival of income. It is especially important in rooms that are used a lot, as well as living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and kitchens. Remove clutter here so more money can come into your life. 13.
