Lead in: Do you sometimes go to the movies? What do you say to ask your friend to go to the movie theatre with you? Do you need the place to meet? How to get top the theatre? II. Pre-listening: Has them look at exercises 5 on page 21 Has them prepare to listen to the conversation between Lan and Nga and fill in the missing words. III. While-listening: Lets them listen to the tape once. Checks their answers, then lets them listen again. Has them crosscheck their names with each other. Lets them write the correct answers on the board. Has them coppy in their notebooks. IV. Free-practice: Has 2 students work in pairs to ask and answer about their plan to go somewhere. Calls on some pairs to drill it in front of the class. Corrects the mistakes if necessary. 6. Read- Then answer: I. Lead in: In this part, we will study some more about the “ language” used through telephone. If you are caller, what will you say? If you are the receiver, what will you say? I. Consolidation: Recalls the structures about listening and answering the phone.
