policies and law of the State in society, contributing to the development of the dialectical material worldview, scientific methodology, ideology, sentiment, personality, lifestyle, for cadres, party contributing to improve the quality of ideological work of the Party in the current period Mekong Delta Region, also known as the Southern Delta or the South West, has 12 provinces and one city (Can Tho) directly under the Central Government; has a natural area of 40,548 km2, equal to 12.25% of the natural area of the country There is a 743 km long coastline; It has more than 340 km of border with Cambodia; There are two island districts, Phu Quoc and Kien Hai The population in the area is 17.55 million people, of which the Kinh have 16,036,217 people (accounting for 91.91%) The ethnic Khmer, Hoa and Cham have 1,411,049 people Intercross between peoples and cultures creates richness, diversity and cohesion among people The important position of the region in socio-economic development, security and defense of the Fatherland is high requirements and characteristics of nature, socio-economic, ethnic, religious and foreign of the region have a strong impact on oral communication and reporting activities in the area Over the past years, the activities of the reporters in the Mekong River Delta Region have achieved certain results, played a significant role in limited, the quality is not high, not meeting the requirements of ideological work in the new situation Researching to find solutions to improve the quality of reporting activities in the Mekong Delta as a PhD thesis on Politics, majoring in ideology Purposes, research mission 2.1 Purpose Based on theoretical and practical aspects of the reporting activity, the dissertation proposes directions and solutions to improve the quality of current reporting activity in the Mekong Delta Region 2.2 Research mission - An overview of different researches related to the topic, the findings on the research the activities of the reporters in general and the activities of reporters of the Mekong Delta in particular have limitations and the quality of reporting activities are not high In the organization STATUS AND ISSUES OF REPORTING ACTIVITIES IN THE MEKONG DELTA REGION 3.1 Current status of the quality of reporters in the Mekong Delta Region 3.1.1 Some characteristics of the Mekong Delta Region affect the performance of the team of reporters 3.1.1.1 Natural characteristics The Mekong River Delta has 12 provinces and one city directly under the Central Government: An Giang, Bac Lieu, Ben Tre, Ca Mau, Dong Thap, Hau Giang, Kien Giang, Long An, Soc Trang, Tien Giang, Vinh, Vinh Long and Can Tho City The Mekong Delta is located in the southernmost part of Vietnam It borders Ho Chi Minh City Mekong Delta 3.1.2 The formation and operation of the report team in the Mekong Delta Region 3.1.2.1 The formation of rapporteurs in the Mekong Delta Region In the process of leading the people to fight for the independence of the Fatherland, our Party soon established a policy of building and developing a contingent of Communist Party reporters and communicators in the Mekong Delta In implementation of Directive 14-CT / TW, dated August 1977 of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee, Session IV on "Organizing the contingent of reporters and communicators", in the Mekong Delta, the team of reporters It is organized in all provinces, cities, districts Provincial level reporters were 196 people, of which 26 were female reporters (13.2%); There are ethnic rapporteurs
