Aim of this lesson. 1) Objectives: - Helps students know some vocabulary about life on other planets. - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know more about UFOs. - They have a chance to listen and speak with their friends. 2) Teaching points: Listen and read. II. Preparation - Teacher: Text book, pictures, poster/ extra board, lesson plan, cassette. - Students: Homework, tools for learning, reference book. III. A pilot and his plane disappeared after sighting a UFO in 1978. h. In 1981, a French man reported that he saw a plate- like device at a tree top 30 meters away from his garden. Aim of this lesson 1) Objectives: - Helps students know some vocabulary about life on other planets. - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk to one another about what they think there might be on Mars, on the moon and on other planets. - They have a chance to speak with their friends. 2) Teaching points: Speak and do the exercise about relative pronoun. II. Preparation - Teacher: Text book, pictures, poster/ extra board, lesson plan. - Students: Homework, tools for learning. III. Checking up the old lesson (8 )’ 1. Write the Vocab of the previous lesson. (turn up, expect, thunderstorm, just in case, trust, coast, central high land, deltal) 2. Practice reading the dialogue and answer the questions. a. Why does Thuy’s grandmother ask her to turn up the volume on TV? b. Which city is the hottest today? c. What does Thuy’s grandmother want her to do? Answer key: a.
