Talk I would like to talk about a holiday I went on in the south of Vietnam just a few months ago I went with my parents to a town called Nha Trang, which is A LOVELY COASTAL TOWN (Một thành phố biển đáng yêu), and we decided to go there so that they could EXPERIENCE A DIFFERENT PART OF THE COUNTRY (Trải nghiệm nơi khác cua đất nước này) and SEE LIFE BY THE BEACH (ngắm nhìn sống biển) We flew there from Hanoi, which is the capital of Vietnam THE FLIGHT TOOK ABOUT HOUR (Chuyến bay khoảng tiếng) and ON THE WHOLE IT WENT SMOOTHLY(Nhìn chung chạy êm) We managed to be one of the first on board and one of the first off when we landed IT WAS CERTAINLY QUICKER AND EASIER THAN GOING BY(Nó chắn dễ dàng nhanh bằng) train, which can take over 15 hours There was so much to there that WE ONLY HAD A CHANCE TO DO JUST A FEW THINGS ON OUR THREE DAY TRIP(chúng tơi có hội làm vài thứ chuyến ngày mình) We took a cruise around the islands and also DID SOME SIGHTSEEING INLAND (vãn cảnh số nơi đảo) as well Taking part in a cookery course was great fun, where we bought fresh ingredients at the local market and learned how to use a wok to fry fresh fish and other seafood like crab and lobster WE DEFINITELY ENJOYED OUR TRIP AND WOULD GO THERE AGAIN IF WE COULD(Chúng thật thích chuyến cua quay lại có thể) SEEING THE COLOURFUL LIFESTYLE OF THE LOCALS (Ngắm nhìn sống nhiều màu sắc người dân địa phương) and HAVING A CHANCE TO SEE SPECTACULAR SCENERY (Có hội nhìn thấy phong cảnh ngoạn mục) was something we will never forget For my parents it was a holiday of a life time and they’re still talking about it If I could live there, I would Model Talk I’d like to talk about a holiday that I took to the south coast of England just two months ago I went to a small village in a coastal region called Cornwall IT’S REALLY WELL KNOWN FOR ITS DRAMATIC COASTAL SCENES, STUNNING LANDSCAPE AND ALSO FOR ITS TASTY FOOD.(Nơi tiếng với phong cảnh biển ấn tượng, cảnh quan tuyệt đẹp đồ ăn ngon nữa).I went with my parents who had never been to this area of England before They’d always wanted to go but just never had the chance because of WORK COMMITMENTS (bận rộn công việc) Anyway, Cornwall is quite far from where we live so we decided that IT WOULD BE BETTER TO FLY THERE RATHER THAN TAKE THE CAR (bay đến tốt xe hơi) The roads and traffic are notoriously bad in that part of England On our arrival, when we found got to the little village, we found our way to the cottage we had booked which overlooked the sea (ngôi nhà mà chúng tơi đặt có tầm nhìn hướng biển) I can’t tell you how gorgeous it was there It was just lovely The windows of my room overlooked a little harbour and I could SEE ALL THE BOATS COMING IN AND OUT (nhìn thấy tất thuyền vào) and all the seagulls flying around (và tất hải âu bay lượn xung quanh) We SPENT MOST OF OUR HOLIDAY SIGHTSEEING (chúng tơi dành hầu hết thời gian kì nghỉ để ngắm cảnh) We visited all the local towns and villages and TRIED MOST OF THE LOCAL DELICACIES(thử hầu hết ăn ngon địa phương) such as fresh crab and lobster My father is a keen fisherman so he did a bit of fishing while my mother and I relaxed in little cafés somewhere just chatting with locals It was so relaxing I think the thing I’ll remember most about the holiday, will be just HOW FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING ALL THE LOCALS WERE (sự thân thiện chào đón tất người dân nơi đây) IT FELT LIKE HOME FROM HOME (cảm giác nhà vậy) By the time we’d finished the two week holiday, WE HAD MADE LOADS OF FRIENDS AND I’M SURE WE’LL ALL KEEP IN TOUCH (chúng tơi có thêm nhiều bạn chắn giữ liên lạc) IF I EVER GET THE CHANCE TO GO BACK, I’D LOVE TO GO AND POSSIBLY STAY LONGER (nếu tơi có hội quay lại, tơi vui có lẽ lại lâu hơn), maybe for a few months There’s still so much of the countryside that we didn’t explore, so THERE’LL STILL BE PLENTY TO SEE WHEN WE RETURN (nơi nhiều thứ để khám phá quay lại) 02 An occasion you received a good service from a company or shop You tell you about a recent purchase I made and the service I received which I thought was outstanding I bought a necklace from a small online shop THAT I FOUND WHILST SURFING THE NET (tơi tìm thấy tơi lướt mạng) It wasn’t a shop that I had bought things from before so I was slightly apprehensive about it The shop didn’t have a wide range of gold jewellery but what it had was unique in style without doubt So, about three weeks ago, I selected a gold necklace to buy from this shop and within just three days it arrived through the post The delivery came beautifully wrapped in fine Japanese style wrapping paper along with a gift voucher for a discount on my next order I WAS TRULY IMPRESSED WITH THE CARE THAT (tôi thật ấn tượng với chăm sóc mà) had been taken in wrapping it and the personal note that also came with it BUT WHAT IMPRESSED ME THE MOST WAS (nhưng thứ làm ấn tượng là) the free gift that arrived as well I WASN’T EXPECTING THAT AT ALL (tôi không mong đợi điều này) Along with my necklace was a matching bracelet which was also exquisitely made I remember the day it all arrived because my best friend was visiting me at the time When I opened the parcel, we were amazed at both items of jewellery My friend immediately went online and put in an order of her own So, I suppose it goes to show that GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS ITS OWN REWARD (dịch vụ khách hàng tốt thường mang lại phần thưởng cho thân ) IT’S HARD TO DESCRIBE HOW I FELT (Thật khó để diễn tả cảm xúc tơi) Of course, as I said, I WAS AMAZED BUT IT WAS MORE THAN THAT (tôi ngạc nhiên thực nữa) LIFE CAN BE TOUGH SOMETIMES (cuộc sống đơi khó khăn) and when you get such a lovely, unexpected present, it makes you feel as though anything is possible in the world I’M PRETTY SURE THAT SMALL SHOP WILL DO VERY WELL
