song for kids Currently, Toc Tien is one of the coaches in The Voice, a singing contest which help many talents gain a foothold in the entertainment industry Down the road, I hope I could set aside more time to attend Toc Tien’s live concerts, cuz’ I am such a hardcore fan of her R/C So Toc Tien is a singer whose parents were seniors in Vietnamese showbiz Her mentor, who is a well-known professor in Hanoi Music Academy, helped her a lot during her vocal training There are several fields that Toc Tien is involving in currently, one of which is singing, apparently (cười nhạt), the other is modelling CC During her school year, there is no students better than her, because she made great effort in her study If I have to describe her in a short phrase, that would be “ambitious achiever” I All in all, Toc Tien is the role model of how singers should be, and will be an inspiration for me in my future career Describe a coffee shop Intro I would like to start off by introducing Cong Cafe, a highly-acclaimed cafe in Vietnam P/P/F If my memory serves me right, Cong had its first coffee shop opened in 2008 in Hanoi Currently, this place has managed to put their name on the map, as many celebs came here and left good reviews Down the road, I hope I could set aside more time and budget to enjoy myself in this place R/C Cong is quite a large franchise, which even expand to other countries like Korea The owner, who is a great barista, invented a signature beverage for his coffee house There are two colors in a Cong café, one of which is green, representing the color of Vietcong soldier and jungle, the other is chestnut, which is the wood CC There is nothing better than the breathtaking view from a Cong’s balcony during sunset, as it overlooks the city skyline of Hanoi If I have to describe this place in a word, that would be “peaceful” I All in all, I had a whale of a time there and I am looking forward to go back to this place again Describe a table Intro I would like to start off by introducing a bed, a must-have furniture in anyone’s home P/P/F If my memory serves me right, my parents once bought a large king size bed, which leads to the birth of their first child, which is me Currently, that bed is in my room, because my parent replaced it with a newer one Down the road, I hope that I could keep this precious bed, as it has become an indispensable part of my bedroom R/C The bed is a furniture which occupy a large amount of space in the room My mother, who has a thing for gold color, bought this bed as she believes it would bring fortune into the house There are several purposes of this table, one of which is to sleep on it, the other is storage, as it has four drawers in both sides CC There is nothing more durable than this bed, because it has been with our family for nearly 25 years If I could describe this bed in one word, that would be “neat” I All in all, I will always treasure this bed, for all the quality time my family has spent with it Describe a trip to the sea Intro I would like to start off by introducing my trip to Phu Quoc, a breath-taking, peaceful island in the southern part of Vietnam P/P/F If my memory serves me right, I had a thirst for adventure when I was a kid, so my family bought me a flight ticket to travel Currently, I could hardly contain my excitement when I know that my family is about to visit that place again Down the road, I hope that I could set aside more time and money to have such a trip with my girlfriend R/C Phu Quoc is a tourist attraction which is well-known for their fish sauce The people who reside in this island are friendly and generous There are actually two parts of this island, one of which belongs to VinGroup, a big corporation in Vietnam, the other where civilians live is quite underdeveloped CC There is nothing better than hiring bikes to explore the island as I please, because I want to get off the beaten track If I could describe this location in one word, that would be “amazing” I All in all, it was such a holiday of a lifetime, and I am looking forward to coming back to Phu Quoc in the future Describe a wedding Intro I would like to start off by introducing my best friend’s wedding, which took place in January 2018 P/P/F If my memory serves me right, I was at a loss for words when I heard she is about to get married Currently, she has given birth to a twin, which is quite reproductive Down the road, I hope that I could have a wedding that surpass hers in every way R/C The wedding was held at Lotus Restaurant, which a luxury all-you-can-eat one near West Lake My girlfriend, who happened to be her bridesmaid, said she was really happy for her friend There are two parts of the wedding ceremony, one of which is the introduction, the other is the eating part CC There is nothing more beautiful than the relationship between my friend and her husband, because of their love at first sight If I could describe this in one word, that would be heart-warming I All in all, I truly believe the wedding has sent my friend over the moon, and I hope she would live happily ever after Describe an artistic activity Intro I would like to start off by introducing street-dancing, a very complex artistic sport P/P/F If my memory serves me right, I was required to attend a dance sport class in my university which is also an extra-curricular activity at school The dancers, who are either professional or just amateur, have to spend years honing their skills There are two types of street-dancing, one of by introducing my story of shopping in Big C, a big retail supermarket in Vietnam P/P/F If my memory serves me right, my mom wanted to buy some necessities so she asked me to drive her there Big C is a large franchise, which has branches throughout Vietnam My mom, who usually like big sale events, dragged me along to shop at Big C There are two types of customers coming to Big C, one of whom are housewives, the other are windowshoppers CC There is nowhere more affordable than Big C, as it has sales of products in all shapes and sizes If I could describe this place in one word, that would be “massive” I All in all, shopping at Big C is still fun, as a dollar saved is a dollar earned, but since I always buy things on impulse, I don’t think I am able to save much money Describe an invention/plant/tree Intro I would like to start off by introducing the White Willow plant, which is used to make Aspirin P/P/F If my memory serves me right, I once read an article about the origin of this plant Currently, aspirin is mass-produced to the public and appear in a lot of prescription to ease the pain Down the road, I hope that I can grow this tree in the backyard of my house and sell it to pharmacies R/C So the White Willow is a species of willow which is native to Europe and Central Asia Felix Hoffman, who discover this plant, loved it so much that he didn’t married There are two accidentally created Facebook, is now one of the richest people in the world There are two purposes of Facebook, one of which is sharing pictures, the other is keeping themselves updated CC There is nothing better than Facebook, as it offers all kinds of information, such as art, current affairs, entertainment, and so on If I can describe this app in a word, that would be “distracting” I All in all, Facebook has its pros and cons, and users must try to not overuse it Describe a piece of clothing Intro I would like to start off by introducing my best friend’s bridal dress, which is a white trumpet one P/P/F If my memory serves me right, I was shocked when I saw the dress, as it fitted my best friend’s physique perfectly Currently, I have to admit that the dress is the best thing that I sushi, a famous Japanese dish P/P/F If my memory serves me right, I once acquired a taste for sushi when I was a kid Currently, sushi is served in big Japanese steak house or in all-you-can-eat restaurants Down the road, I hope that I could travel to Japan to compare between Japanese cuisine and that of ours R/C So Sushi is a dish which is made from rice, raw fish and vegetables wrapped in a rolled seaweed The seaweed, which is made very flat like paper, smells very fishy There are two dips of the sushi, one of which is soy sauce and wasabi, the other is mayonnaise CC There is nothing better than sushi on a picnic, as it is very easy and fast to make this, and you can keep it at normal temperature If I could describe this dish in a word, that would be “mouth-watering” I All in all, I hope that I could set aside more money to enjoy this delicious food, since Japanese food often cost an arm and a leg Describe an animal Intro I would like to start off by introducing the gecko, a recently-famous pet P/P/F If my memory serves me right, I know about the gecko from an anime called Pokémon, which is quite famous in the 2000s Currently, geckos are kept as pets in several households, and they live in a glass box Down the road, I hope that geckos can be domesticated in Vietnam too R/C Geckos is a type of reptile that comes in a range of colors, or even able to change colors The owners who try to raise this lizard must be aware that Geckos eat insects There are several types of Geckos that people often pet, one of which is the Giant Day, the other is the White Lined CC There is nothing more unique than the Gecko, as I believe only a minority of Vietnamese had it If I could describe this animal in a word, that would be “tiny” I All in all, Geckos would make a great pet, they just need the right diet Describe a law Intro I would like to start off by introducing the prohibition of dog meat, which would be applied in 2019 P/P/F If my memory serves me right, Vietnamese people have been eating dog meat since the beginning of time Currently, the population of pet owners has increased, so a lot of them quit eating dog meat Down the road, I hope that this law would eliminate this kind of habit R/C So this one is a policy that the government tries to be more friendly towards foreign tourists Several citizens, who support the eating of dog meat, still think that this law is actually impossible to enforce There are several places that already attempt to this, one of which is Ho Chi Minh City CC There is nothing better than this law, because at least dog stealing would be less frequently If I could describe this policy in one word, that would be “awesome” I All in all, I hope that for this law life would be better especially for the dog owners Imagine raising a dog for years as a family member and one day it is taken to the slaughter house, that would be very sad
