INTRODUCTION Leadership style is the manner and approach of providing direction, implementing plans, and motivating people. As seen by the employees, it includes the total pattern of explicit and implicit actions performed by their leader. Simply, leadership style is the way a person uses power to lead other people. There is no doubt that leadership plays an important role in business as this is the quality that every head of organizations should have. Also, leaders help determine how successful the group is at achieving its goals and how motivated and committed followers are to the group and its goals. So far, there have been up to 12 styles of leadership that are widely recognized, among which there are 3 classic styles that could work as a platform on which the others are created: authoritarian, paternalistic and participative.
