Xi’an, China (2014); Madrid, Spain (2013); Wu Yi Shan, China (2012); Milan, Italy (2011); Melbourne, Australia; (2010); Gold Coast, Australia (2009); Shanghai, China (2008); and Dalian, China (2007) The conference received 105 submissions Each submission was carefully reviewed by at least three committee members The Program Committee decided to accept 31 full papers and four short papers We would like to thank all authors who submitted their papers to NSS 2016, and the conference attendees for their interest and support, which made the conference possible We further thank the Organizing Committee for their time and efforts;
