Lesson plan Let’s go 1 – Unit 7 – Let’s learn (p.58) * Contents - New words: • want • and • bread • pizza • milk • … - Models: A: What do you want? B: I m hungry. I want cake.’ * Aims: - Help students get to know how to ask about somebody s need and answer.’ - Students may have a chance to practice saying about their need * Teaching aids: Student s books, cassette, worksheets, picture cues, word cues, flowers’ … * Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students will have ability to ask and answer about what they want. * Procedure: Stages Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Work arrangement I. Warm up (5 mins): Guessing game 1 student go to the blackboard, draw an item, the others guess. The student who guess correctly will go to the BB and draw other item. * Words: hungry, thirsty, milk, fish, chicken, pizza, bread, rice, cake, ice-cream, apple, juice. - draw items on the BB II. Presentation (15 mins) 1. Pre-teach new words: (5 mins) * New words: • want • and • bread (visual) • pizza (visual) • milk (visual) • … Practice saying the new words and copy in the note- books. * Steps for teaching a new words: ~ Cã con nµo biÕt muèn trong T.A nãi“ ” thÕ nµo kh«ng? - want ~ Good.
