Lesson plan Unit 6: Pla ces Period 1:( A 1,2,3 ) Our h ouse I. Objectives: - Talking about the location of different places. - Developing speaking and writing skills . II. Language contents : * Vocabulary: - Place, lake, park, hotel, tree, flower, rice paddy - near * Grammar: - Structures: What’s that? What are those? There’s a ……. There are ……… III. Techniques: Question and answer IV. Teaching aids: computer, cassette recorder and tape V. Procedures: Section Steps Techniques and content A.1 Listen and read Warm up: Game: Pelmanism -to arouse students’ interest. -to introduce new words. - to lead into the new lesson Lead in: Pre: - students are divided into two groups. - ss have to take turns asking the teacher to turn the numbers over to identify what are under. Then they have to match the same pictures. Each correct matching gains 1 mark. The winner is the group that gains the highest score. - asks ss:_Where is your house? _ Is it in the city or in the country? _ What is there near your house? - ss give their ideas.( in Vietnamese ) - shows a video clip.
