Unit 10: STAYING HEALTHY. Period: 61 st : PartA: How Do You Feel ?. ( A 1,2,3,4 ) I/ Objectives: Help students talk about feeling. II/ Language content: Vocabulary: feel hungry thirsty full tired orange juice noodle Structures: • How do you feel ? • I’m hungry. • What would you like ? • I’d like some noodles III/ Techniques: Skill Development. IV/ Teaching aids: Books, pictures, cassette. V/ Procedures: TEACHER: STUDENTS: CONTENT: • Let them play “Net Work” with the color that they learnt. COLOR 4. Ask students to look at the pictures in page 104 (part A 1 ) and guess the feeling of those people. • Introduce the new words, write them on the board, read and ask students to repeat. • Play the cassette three times and ask them to listen then repeat. • Introduce how to ask about feeling. “How do you feel ?” I’m hungry. • Introduce the question: “What would you like ?” I’d like some noodles. • Ask them listen and repeat the sentences. • Ask them to practice asking and answering about their feeling. 5. Period: 62 nd Unit 10: STAYING HEALTHY. PartA : How Do You Feel ? ( A 5,6 ) 5. Listen and match the names with the right pictures: New words: • Sleepy (adj) • Sleep (v) 6. Listen and repeat: New words: • `want (v) Structures: • “What’s the matter?” “How do you feel?” • Ask them to play the roles. • Notice the question: “What’ the matter?” the same with “How do you feel ?” • Ask them to say the question again and how to answer. • Write it on the board and ask them to repeat. • Introduce verb “to want” • Ask studentsto practice the dialogue once more and then ask them to practice building the dialogue with the words given a. Hot/ cold drink. b. Hungry/ noodles. c. Thirsty/ a drink. • Ask some of them read the dialogue again. • Correct if they have.  Consolidation: • Recall the structures: What do you want ? Ask students to say the names of things in pictures part B 1 . • Show at the picture and give the word for each. • Let them listen to the cassette two time and then repeat those words. • Ask them to recall the question “What would you like ?” and answer. • Ask them to practice with a partner. 2. Let them look at the menu and introduce “This is a menu” and ask them to guess “menu”.
