1 WRITING UNIT PARAGRAPH REVIEW Group 8: Nguyễn Thị Thanh Phương Bùi Ngọc Thanh Giang Võ Thị Hiền Hồ Thái An PARAGRAPH REVIEW In the past four units, we have learned about paragraph Now we will take a moment to review what we have learned after all this time All of the sentences in the paragraph relate to the main topic • The first line of a paragraph is indented • The concluding sentence brings the paragraph to a logical ending • Feature of a Paragraph • topic sentence Controls or guides the whole paragraph Is not a general fact that everyone accepts as true A good topic sentence Specific but not too specific Has controlling ideas What? Who? Where? Why? When? How?
