Warmer: Questions and answers 1. Have you ever gone to the post office? 2. How often do you go to the post office? 3. What do you go to the post office for? 4. What the services of the post office do you usually use? II. Pre- speak ing 1. Task 1/ 103: Practising the dialogue III. While speak ing : 1. Task 2/ 104: Make a conversation from the suggestions in the book. * Suggested answers : ( Sample): A: Good morning. Can I help you? B: Yes. I would like to have a telephone line installed at home. A: Ok. Where do you live? B: I live in Hoang Hoa Tham Street. When can you install it? A: We can install it one week after you register. B: Can you come on Friday? A: Yes, that is fine. Have you got a telephone yet? - put questions and ask Ss to answer. - follow the step of teaching Voc. - help Ss remember. - ask Ss to act out the dialogue and then answer the question: What service is the customer using in the dialogue? - ask Ss to work in pairs and practise the dialogue. - call on some pairs to act out the dialogue. - call on some Ss to answer the questions. - ask Ss to work in pairs to do the task. - ask Ss to read the suggestions in the task and make sentences basing on the suggestions. - go around the class to check anf offer help. - call on some pairs to present their conversation in front of - listen to the teacher and answer the questions. - listen to the teacher and repeat. - listen to the teacher and take notes - read the new words in chorus. - read the new words individually. - remember the words. - work in pairs and act out the dialogue and then answer the question The customer is using the fax service. - work in pairs and make a conversation from the suggestions in the book. 10’ 4’ 1’ B: Yes, I have a telephone already. Task 3/ 104: Imagine that one of you is a clerk at the post office and the other is a customer, make a dialogue for each of the following situations. * Suggested answers : ( Sample): A: Good morning. Can I help you? B: Yes. I would like to subscribe to Lao Dong daily newspaper. A: Yes, how long would you like to get the newspaper? B: For a year please. A: All right. Could you fill in this form please? IV. Post – speak ing : V. Wrapping up the class. - call on some other Ss to give comments. - feebback and give final comments. - keep Ss to work in pairs and do the task. - ask them to study the first situation carefully and make a dialogue basing the task 1 or 2. - go around the class to check and offer help. - call on some pairs to present their conversation in front of the class. - call on some other Ss to give comments. - feebback and give final comments. - Ask Ss to write the dialogue in the notebook. *Comments:summarise the main points of the lesson. * Homework: Make a dialogue for the second situation in task 3 - study the first situation carefully and make a dialogue basing the task 1 or 2. - write the dialogue in the notebook. - listen to T - learn and do at home .
