GIÁO ÁN TIẾNG ANH LỚP UNIT 12: A VACATION ABROAD Lesson1: GETTING STARTED - LISTEN & READ Period 73 A/ Aim: Practice matching the names of the countries with picture and flags, reading the dialogue about traveling abroad B/ Objective: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know some famous places in the world C/ Preparation: Stereo, pictures, posters D/ Procedure I Warm up: Net work: Countrie s Japan II New lesson: 1) Getting started: - T sticks the pictures on the board - T writes the countries in the box on the board and asks Ss to match the pictures with their countries.( pictures in text books ) a) Canada d) Australia b) Britain e) Japan c) Thailand The U.S.A - Ss work in pairs then compare with the partner * Feedback - T corrects g) - T asks some questions a) Why you know it is the U.S.A / Thailand / Australia? - Ss answer in individual * Feedback * Keys: Because I can see the statue of liberty opera theatre, pagoda and Buddha… b) Among those countries, which country you want to visit most? (Yes, No) + Where did you go last summer holiday? + Where did you stay? + What places did you visit?
