bụng gm cú gossypol, hemigossypol, desoxyhemigossypol, 2,7-dihydroxy cadalene, hemigossypolone v heliocides H1 v H2 Gossypol l cht ỏng chỳ ý nht cỏc cht terpenoid phytoalexin v c phõn lp u tiờn t cỏc tuyn sc t ca ht bụng Cht ny nhỡn chung l c t cho cỏc loi khụng phi ng vt nhai li v gõy bt dc c Gossypol cú th thy dng t hoc kt hp Nghiờn cu khuyn cao khong 18 mg gossypol t (tng ng vi 0,1%) l hm lng
