Aims and obiectives: Ss are able to say where SO is from. + Vocabulary: where, from, Singapore, America, England. + Grammar: Where are you from ? I’m from Vietnam. + Skills : Ss practice the listening & speaking skills about where SO is from. II. Preparations: - Pictures, the tape, puppets. III. Procedure: Steps Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 1. Warm up: 2’ - Greet Ss. - Have Ss sing the song “ Hi, how are you?” - Greet teacher. -Sing the song. 2. New lesson: a. Pre-stage: 10’ b. While-stage: 10’ - Have Ss look at the picture in the 1 st part, guess what the people say. - Play the tape. Have Ss look at the picture & listen the tape. - Play the tape twice (or 3), have Ss repeat. - Have Ss work in pairs. - Have some Ss read the conversation. - Have Ss look at the pictures of the 2 nd part and identify every person, where they are from. - Read new words of the countries, have Ss repeat & show on every suitable people. - Have Ss read the examples. - Have Ss work in group(roleplay to practice speaking according to the pictures) - Have some pairs model. - Look at the pictures. Guess what the persons speak. - Listen carefully to make friend with the listening text. - Listen and repeat (2 or 3 times) in chorus. - Practice reading in pairs. - Roleplay to practice reading. - Look at 2 picture and identify every person. - Repeat new words. - Follow. - Roleplay to practice speaking. - Model, others listen & give their comments. -1- Lesson plan-Grade 4-Hong Van Tran Binh Trong primary school 1’ c.
