to learn many things and accumulate much experience to conduct this report Studying at International School, Vietnam National University during the past years, I sincerely thank all of the teachers the date of 26 th March, 1993, when the Vietnam Tourism Company in Hanoi, the precursor of the company, has been established on the basis of separation from the Corporation Vietnam Tourism , under Vietnam National Administration of Tourism After a long time of running the business inefficiently under the subsidy mechanism and to create the flexibility for business operations in line with regional characteristics, the Corporation Vietnam Tourism is being restructured with the establishment of three companies: Vietnam Tourism company in Hanoi; Vietnam Tourism Company in Da Nang, Vietnam Tourism Company in Ho Chi Minh The tour companies are operating under the direct management of the General Department of Tourism Since this time, the Vietnam Tourism Company in Hanoi, the direct precursor of the Company performs the function of business tourism to the scope of activities across the country In the early years of the newly established, Vietnam Tourism Company in Hanoi has faced many difficulties due to the transition from business to the subsidy mechanism, a centrally planned to a business in the market mechanism However, from 1999 to 2013, Vietnam Tourism company in Hanoi about career development Internships help me learn more about myself Through an internship, I can gain clarity on my strengths, weaknesses, and interests Equally important, I can also learn what I don’t enjoy doing Internships increase my professional confidence By interning, I can confront and overcome the “fear of the unknown” that I may have about what it’s like to work in a professional environment Internships improve my communication skills By interacting with others in a professional environment during an internship, I will have many opportunities to become a better communicator 32 Internships help me prove myself in the “real-world.” Academic success matters, but achievement in the “real-world” is even more important when I am looking for full-time work Internships expand my the customer can be it is more important to keep positive attitude and be friendly with the customer + Tourism is the industry in which passenger contacts us to get what he/she dreams of for their holiday Travelers at the end of the day go on a vacation to relax and to have a good time Vietnamtourism Hanoi emphasize a strong customer service as to those who get service are more likely to return for their future travel arrangements If tourists get good service in a well-known hotel then they will consider that hotel chain first whenever they will travel again and would recommend it to others within their social circle +Poor customer service can ruin the reputation about any tourism company, not only Vietnamtourism Hanoi If customer gets bad experience then neither he will use that supplier again nor will he advise anyone to use it again So directly that 35 company will lose that customer revenue in future and indirectly they will lose the prospective client which could get them Furthermore, I must to create some mini games for customer to can attract new customer and keep the relationship with potential customer Last, I check the comment and inbox of customers and reply for them as soon as possible If they have any require, questions about the tour or complaint about the quality of tours, I will synthetic and send to my manager I learned many new things and have useful experience to can manage the social networking sites, for ex: how to write the attractive headline for the post, how to create and manage mini games, how to make the best answer for the questions of customer,… 1.2 Solve feedback of customer: In Vietnamtourism Hanoi JSC, customer always receives the feedback form after finish the tour of company My tasks are synthetic it, check the comment and send any complain of customer to my manager In the period I did its, I learn the way to synthetic it quickly, create the online feedback, … Photocopy, draft and type documents: First time when I hear about these jobs, I think it’s easy and think I can complete these jobs before deadline However, when I did its, I know I were made a big mistake It was very difficult and waste many times of me to can learn about using the photocopy machine, how to draft and type documents quickly, However, when I did these jobs many times, now, I having the very useful experiences and I can did these job very quickly and simple Made the marketing plans for Facebook fan page posts: + I must to follow the holidays of Vietnam to can make marketing plans for new posts on Facebook fan page of company For example: In the Tet holiday, my company wants to introduce customers the tour to Japan and Korean, so I need to 37 find some good article talks about Japan and Korean to can attractive customer about my company’s tours + Furthermore, I must to guess about the requirement of customer in holidays period and made some plans to can posts the article which can fit with requirement of customers Work under the pressure: In the first week of internship period, I were stressed because of the deadline and pressure of works However, in the next week, with the enthusiasm to help of my manager and my colleagues, I feel better and can complete my jobs on time Now, on the fifth week of internship period, I can easily to complete my jobs and ready to learn new things everyday IV Contribution to the internship company + I write 100 new posts on Facebook fan page of company to advertising for article of Vietnamtourism Hanoi JSC in the internship period + I checked, synthetized and support to solved 500 feedback of customers each weak + I made mini games and attractive more than 1000 customer join and share about the information of company + I used my Facebook to share and introduce the information about companies to people in my friend list + I checked and replied comment, inbox of customer everyday and have fan page of Vietnamtourism Hanoi have more potential customer + I made the marketing plans for my company’s Facebook fan page posts for the May, June, and July of this year 38 V Recommendation: From the observation and experience when being an internship in Vietnamtourism Hanoi JSC, I would like to give some recommendations on improving their service and business performance of company better Firstly, Vietnamtourism Hanoi JSC should make the online feedback for customers to replace the old feedback form written in paper for many years So customers can fill in the form online by their personal devices in any convenient time Secondly, in order to grab attention to the brand during the fierce competition within the tourism industry leaded by main ones: Viet travel and Saigon Tour, the marketing campaign needs to be upgraded and organized as main events for each month Also instead of going the normal route by using social network such as: Facebook, website, Vietnamtourism Hanoi JSC might think of branching out to the wider and bigger networks, not only in the online world, but also in real-life world Thirdly, company just only focus to design tour for old people and people who have a lot of money Company should design some tour for student and normal people to can attract more customer, advertising for company by “Word of mouth” Last, customer of company comes from around the world and they use many different language However, the feedback form of company just focuses on English, Chinese and Japanese, while the number of Russian, Portugal, and customer are more and more increasing So company should design more feedback form and
