Each operator should be received at least # 30 MHz VIET NAM MOBILE 2007 - RADIO FREQUENCY DIRECTORATE Spectrum allocation in Viet Nam (5) Possible new bands for next mobile generation networks (IMT): – Issue is being discussed and may be decided at WRC -07 held in Geneva from 22 Oct- 16 Nov 2007. Candidate bands include: – • 2700-2900 MHz MHz •3400-4200 MHz •450 – 470 MHz •4400-4990 MHz •470-806/862 MHz •2300-2400 MHz No clear global support to any band at the moment – •410-430 13 ITU-R WP8F considers adoption of IP-OFDMA (mobile WiMAX based technology) to IMT standard family. Next meeting is 23-31 May 2007, Japan. It is the first time ever beauty contest. Requirements is being drafted Max 4 licenses for 3G in 1900-2200 MHz band Numbers of WiMAX license will be determined following frequency plan.
