市。例如北京、例如上海。而侨乡研究中又仅仅集中在侨乡与移 入地 之 间的关系和互动，如果将侨乡受到南洋华人的反向影响放在中国 现代 性 发展的问题意识里考察的话，我们似乎可以纠正中国现代性研究 过度 关 注城市而在某种程度上忽略农村现代性的问题，从而想当然地认 为现 代 性问题上城乡是割裂的。 研 究南洋旅行者回到中国后的一系列活动以及南洋华人的中国旅行 游记 也
