A child learning to talk does not learn by being corrected all the time; if corrected too much, he will stop talking. Our job should be to help the child when he tells us that he can’t find the way to get the right answer. Let’s end all this nonsense of grades, exams, marks. Let us throw them all out, and let the children learn that all educated people must some day learn, how to measure their own understand, how to know what they know or do not know. Let them get on with this job in the same way that seems most sensible to them, with our help as school teachers if they ask for it. The idea that there is body of knowledge to be learnt at school and used for the rest of one’s life is nonsense in a world as complicated and rapidly changing as ours. One travels to a different country every time she has a holiday, but she has never enjoyed herself: she finds the place too hot, too cold, too quiet, too noisy or too expensive. She is too fussy. My 2 nd friend says that she really enjoys traveling but she never goes outside her hotel and spends all of her holiday resting in her room. What a waste of a holiday! Programmes or can’t find a good disco in the place he’s gone to for his holiday Travelers like these should really stay at home because they do not prepare themselves for travel. They love the excitement of planning a holiday to a different places before they go, and of talking about it when they come back, but they don’t spend any time finding out about the food, shops, transport, entertainment etc. In the place. So, when they arrive there, they are so shocked by the differences from home that all they can do is criticize the place and become very unhappy. Their unhappiness grows and grows the longer they there. There are many reasons for traveling. Dome people travel to escape their boring lives at home; other travel to explore new places; while other people travel so they can study different parts of the world. However, if you travelers like 3 friends why they travel, they probably won’t be able to give you an answer. They don’t really have an answer. They really should just stay at home.
