Individual work * New lesson: - Ask Ss to repeat form of present progressive. - Ask Ss to repeat usage of present progressive. T - whole class 1. Form: S + is/am/are + V-ing + O. S + is/am/ are + not + V-ing + O Tobe + S + V-ing + O ? Yes, S + tobe No, S + tobe. Wh + tobe + S + V-ing ? S + tobe + V-ing + O ? Ex. He is playing babminton now. Về cách biến đổi động từ V-ing * Thông thườngchúng ta thêm đuôi -Ing sau các động từ (watch watching, do doing, ) * Các động từ kết thúc bởi đuôi "e", chúng ta bỏ "e" sau đó thêm đuôi "-ing" (invite inviting, write writing , ) * Các động từ kết thúc bởi đuôi " ie" KiÒu Xu©n Häa - Tù chän Anh 6  Trêng THCS CÇn KiÖm chúng ta đổi "ie" thành "y" rồi thêm "- ing" (lie lying, die dying, ) * Các động từ kết thúc bởi đuôi "ee" chúng ta chỉ cần thêm đuôi "-ing " (see - seeing ) * Các động từ kết thúc bởi đuôi một phụ âm mà trước đó là một nguyên âm đơn thì chúng ta nhân đôi phụ âm đó (Begin - beginning; swim - swimming) 2. Usage: Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn diễn tả hành động diễn ra vào thời điểm nói: Ex: She is learning English now . * Với các trạng từ: now, at the moment, at present, today . * Practice: Give correct form of vebs in the bracket: 1. He ( do ) his homework now. 2. She ( read) newspaper at the moment ? 3. They ( not go) fishing at present. 4. What you (do) now ? I ( play) chess. 5.
