IV. Assumed knowledge - Ss have already known some vocabulary items related to the topic. - Students are familiar with working in pairs and groups. V. Here I have 12 pieces of paper with 12 pictures related to the topic “The World Cup”. Two groups will take turn to play the game. Then your task is to describe (maybe use action, gestures, face expressions, body language and speak in English only) the pictures to other Ss in your group, who have to guess the words related to those pictures. If your group can guess the right word, you get 1 point for your group. For each correct guess, your group gets 1 point. Remember: You have a maximum of 30 seconds for describing each picture. After 30 seconds, if your group cannot guess what the word is, then the other groups get the chance to describe the picture, and get point. - Ss take turn to be the representative.
