Method and Tecniques: -Communicative approach , -gap-filling multiple choice, discussion III. teaching aids: text book, handout, poster., real objects IV. Procedures: *Warm up: (5’) T’ACTIVITIES STS’ACTIVITIES T: Show Ss some pictures and ask them questions: What are the people in the pictures doing? T: Lead-in : These people are doing the ss answer in individually 1. He is helping the blind children to read. 2. The Ss are helping the handicapped. 3. These people are helping the AIDS patient. Ss: Listen to the teacher and answer the work without being paid for it.What do you call this kind of work ? I/ Before you read : (7ms) T: Asks Ss to work in pairs to read the short poem on page 46 and answer the question and discuss its meaning. T: Calls some Ss to present their opinion. T: Gives some comments and her suggestion : Elicits new words from Ss . Ask them to read the words in chorus then in individually. question ( Expected answer ) : VOLUNTEER WORK Discussing the picture and saying : - The old woman is teaching the boy to read. - The phrase means that we should teach a person how to make money or produce food rather than give them money or food.
