Dùng để tường thuật lại lời nói trực tiếp cuả ai đó theo cách thức trần thuật, mệnh lệnh, yêu cầu, sai khiến Form Thể khẳng định: S + V + O ( hoặc câu hỏi) Thể phủ định: S + won’t + Vo + O Didn’t Model verb (can’t) Thể khẳng định: S + Verb + O (+ prep) - Ving Thể phủ định: S + Verb + O (+ prep) – NOT + Ving Change 1. Shall + S + Vo / What about + Ving?  S + suggested + (O) + Ving ( câu hỏi mời mọc, đề nghị) 2. S +Be + adj / has (have) + V 3 ed  S + admitted + (O) + Ving ( sự thú nhận) 3. (S) • Túc từ : đứng sau động từ tường thuật, thường chỉ người (O) • Đổi ngôi khi chuyển từ trực tiếp sang gián tiếp. • Reported verb (động từ tường thuật): thường đi kèm với giới từ. • Am, is, and are dược đổi thành “being” khi chuyển sang gián tiếp. • Present Perfect tense: bỏ “has / have”, đổi V 3 ed sang Vo & thêm “ing” sau động từ. • Will , can’t, shall, did not + Vo: chỉ chọn “Vo” và thêm “ing” sau động từ. • To + Vo : bỏ “to” & chỉ chọn “Vo” và thêm “ing” sau động từ. * Vo + to – Vo : chọn “to – Vo” & sau đó chỉ chọn “Vo” sau “to” & thêm “ing” sau động từ.
