Dùng để tường thuật lại lời nói trực tiếp cuả ai đó theo cách thức mệnh lệnh, yêu cầu, sai khiến người khác Form Thể khẳng định: Infinitive (Vo) + Object (O) Thể phủ định:Don’t +Infinitive(Vo)+Object (O) Thể khẳng định: S + asked/ told + O + To – Vo. Thể phủ định: S + asked/ told + O + Not to – Vo. Change 1. (Please – don’t) Infinitive (Vo) +(Object (O)  S + asked / told / ordered+ O + (NOT) To – Vo. Câu hỏi không có “Wh” / must (not) + Vo Can / could + S + Vo? 2. S + Will / Won’t + Vo  S + promised + O + (NOT) To – Vo 3. Reported verb (động từ tường thuật): asked/ told, promised, advised (encouraged) / wanted, invited, offered / reminded / warned. Thường đứng giưã chủ từ và túc từ.
