Warm up: -Sing “The Happy Birthday Song” -Role-play the dialogue from Let’s Talk ( Unit 5) - Say the names of the toys 2. Presentation: a)Present the question- and- answer pattern: Use puppets to present P A: “what is it”? P B: “It’s a ( doll)” P A: “what is it”? P B: “I don’t know” b) Practice: Asking & answering 3. Open your books: page 40 a) Identify the characters & describe the pictures b) Play the cassette, students listen & point - Play the cassette again, students listen, point & repeat c) Practice the dialogue d) Write the paradigm & contraction (page 40) on the board.
