To warm up LL, establish topic. 2. To provide students the meaning of new words; to help students remember new words. 3. To let students guess the meaning of words through the context. Picture on page 12 in Tieng Anh 12 - Poster on the board for sentences in task 1 on page 14. LL: - writes the words describe the picture; makes the sentences with these words. TQ-LA - Where is the family? - What is each member of family doing? - Is the family happy? Why (not)? T: - provides new words - TQ-LA Vocabulary: - responsibility (n): trách nhiệm - rush (v): vội vã đi gấp - attempt (n): sự cố gắng - pressure (n): áp lực - household chore: công việc nhà - supportive (n): ủng hộ Check: rub out and remember. - IND - Read the passage. - Choose the sentence A, B, or C that is nearest in meaning to the sentence given.  PRS: comparing the answers.
