Multi-agent systems can be used to solve problems which are diffi cult or im- possible for an individual agent or monolithic system to solve. Agent systems are open and extensible systems that allow for the deployment of autonomous and proactive so ware components. Multi-agent systems have been brought up and used in several application domains. This book is a collection of 22 excellent works on multi-agent systems divided into four sections: Multi-Agent Systems Modeling, Interaction and Decision Making on Agent Environments, Multi-Agent Systems Simulation and Case Studies.
