1 Phế cầu là một trong những tác nhân gây bệnh và tử vong quan trọng, đặc biệt đối với trẻ < 5 tuổi

2 Một số týp huyết thanh chính được ghi nhận tại Việt Nam: 19F,6A/B, 23F, 14 và có sự hiện diện của týp 3, 19A.
