General education courses are designed to complement the business courses They provide students with an opportunity to develop a broad perspective, which is highly valued by employers These courses are a required component of many UNSW degrees and must be taken from the other faculties (i.e non business courses) What is a full-time study load? A student who is enrolled in three to four courses per semester (18-24 UOC) is deemed to be enrolled in a full-time study load Each course has approximately three contact hours per week You should allocate on average seven hours of study per week for each course (e.g reading, tutorial preparation, and essay writing) What is a part-time study load?
