All rights reserved Slide Glossary • Forum Discussion—a group presentation in which audience members have an opportunity to ask questions and comment on panel members’ presentations • Symposium Discussion—a group presentation in which individual speakers give presentations in front of an audience. All rights reserved Slide Small Group Presentations to an Audience • Panel Discussions – A panel discussion is basically a conversation in front of an audience • When you participate in a panel discussion, keep in mind that you should prepare for the presentation much as you would for any public communication event • Each panel member should plan to participate as evenly as possible McGrawHill © 2004 The McGrawHill Companies, Inc.
