It comes down to a number of things Luck -> the items that they’ve lost happen to be discovered by people with good intentions Take precaution / precautionary methods -> ex: include contact details -> tracking technologies (technologies that help locate the lost items) What should parents teach their children to when they find something? It depends on the type of things that you happen to find… Personal belongings (wallets, phones, …) -> make an effort to return them to the original owner -> report to the authority Hazardous goods (for ex:, drugs/ guns …) -> RUN -> Leave everything intact and report to the authority ASAP Why some people find what they have lost more quickly than others? What should parents teach their children to when they find something? Why some people like to collect things? To some, it’s purely a hobby …  look for/ admire things of the past  gives them a sense of fulfillment To others, it’s a lucrative opportunity … happen to collect antiques that have historical significance (a vase that dates back to an ancient dynasty…) -> collectors can make a handsome profit What are the advantages and disadvantages of keeping collections?
