Quy trình xây dựng đường hầm ngầm Thủ Thiêm qua sông Sài Gòn.Dự án hợp tác Việt Nam Nhật Bản.Hầm dìm Thủ Thiêm vượt sông Sài Gòn là hạng mục quan trọng nhất của dự án xây dựng đại lộ Đông Tây. Hầm có tổng chiều dài 1.490m, bao gồm 3 đoạn chính là: hầm dẫn phía TP.HCM, có tổng chiều dài 585m; hầm dẫn phía Thủ Thiêm có tổng chiều dài 535m; hầm dìm bao gồm 4 đốt hầm có tổng chiều dài 370m.
