Adverbs : • Every( morning, afternoon, evening, day, week, month, year )…… • In the ( morning, afternoon, evening, summer, winter .)… • Never, sometimes, often, usually, always. • Once, twice, three times / a day, week, month, year.… 2. Form : a. Tobe = am, is, are = thì, là, ở (+) S + tobe + adj/N/prep…. Eg : I’m a student. (-) S + tobe + not + adi/N/prep She isn’t tall. (?) Tobe + S + adj N/prep …. ? Are you from England ? – yes,I am/ No,I’m not. (Wh-) Wh- tobe + S + … ? What is her name ? – her name is Mai. b. Verbs ( V ) (+) I,we,you,they + V + O/adv …. Eg : I go to work at 7.00 everyday She,he,It + Vs,es + O/adv …. She goes to work at 7.00 everyday. (-) S + don’t/doesn’t + V( k chia ) … They don’t like fish/ he doesn’t eat meat. (?) Do/does + S + V( k chia ) ……. ? Do you often get up early ? – yes,I do/ No,I don’t. Does Nam watch TV after meals? – yes,he does/ No,he doesn’t. (Wh-) Wh- + do/does + S + V( k chia ) ….? Which school do they go to ? - Dloc When does she have English? – on Monday. II. The present continuous tense ( Thì Hiện tại tiếp diễn ) : 1. Adverbs : • Now, right now, at the/ this moment, at present, today. • Listen!,be quiet ! 2. Form : (+) S + is/am/are + V_ing … Eg : We are learning Einglish right now. (-) S + is/am/are + not + V_ing … It isn’t raining at the moment. (?) Is/am/are + S + V_ing …? Is Mary doing her homework? –yes,she is/No,she isn’t. (Wh-) Wh- + is/am/are + S + V_ing ? What are you doing ? _ I’m playing video games. III. The present perfect tense ( Thì HTHT ) : 1. Adverbs : • Already (rồi,xong rồi) Eg : She has already had dinner. • Just ( vừa mới ) - We’ve just gone here. • Ever, never,not… yet, lately = recently(gần đây)… • For + khoảng thời gian. For 3 years, for 2 months……. • Since + mốc thời gian. Since last year, since yesterday, since 2005. 2. Form : (+) S + have/has + V ed/3 ……. Eg : Ba has bought a new computer recently. (-) S + have/has + not + V ed/3 …. The students haven’t finished the work yet. (?) Have/has + S + V ed/3 ……? Have you met Lan lately? (Wh-) Wh- + have/has + S + V ed/3 ? Who has he helped? IV. The present perfect continuous tense ( Thì HTHTTD ) : • 1. Form : S + have/has + been + V -ing + for/since… Eg : I have been studying English since 2005/ I was in grade 6. Mai has been looking for her bike for hours. B. Past tenses I. The past simple tense ( Thì QK Đ). 1. Adverbs : • Yesterday,last night/week…, 2days/weeks/months ago. • In 2005, this morning… 2. Form : a. To be = was, were + S + was/were + N/adi/prep… Eg : I was happy yesterday. - S + was/were + not + N/adi/prep… They weren’t at home last night. ? Was/were + S + N/adj/prep… ? Was she a student 3 years ago? Wh- Wh- + was/were + S + … ? Where were you last Sunday? b. Verbs + S + V- ed/2 + O/adv …… Quang visited Ha Long in 2000. She went to school at 6 this morning. - S + did + not + V (o chia) …. He didn’t visit HL in 2003. She didn’t go to school at 5 this morning. ? Did + S + V (o chia) … ? Did they buy that shirt ? – yes,they did/No,they didn’t. (Wh-) Wh- + did + S + V (o chia) ? What did you do yesterday? – I watched TV. 3. HTHT + Since + QKĐ. Eg : She hasn’t gone out since she her father bought her a computer. II. The past simple continuous tense (Thì QKTD). 1. Form + adverbs + S + was/were + V -ing + …… Ba&Lan were sleeping at 9.00 last night. - S + was/were + not + V -ing … Her mother wasn’t cooking at this time yesterday. ? Was/were + S + V -ing ….? Were you staying at home? yes,I was/no,I wasn’t. 2. Thì QKTD dùng với When & While Eg : We were having lunch when he came = When he came, we were having lunch. He was watching TV while his wife was listening to music. III. The past perfect tense (Thì QKHT). 1. Form : S + had + V ed/3 + … When I came there, they had gone out. 2. Adverbs : when,after,before, by the time,as soon as,… C. Cuture tenses I. The future simple tense 1. Adverbs : • Tomorrow, next, tonight, in 2 minutes/days. .
