2011 Transit Connect Electric Van/Wagon Pre-Delivery Service Record Dealer Stock Number: Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Pre-Delivery Inspection Date: _ Check AZDtec.com Confirm that all open Recalls and Field Service Actions have been completed Mechanical Inspections Check powertrain cooling system degas bottle COLD and fill to specifications (MAX fill line), if required Check cabin heating degas bottle COLD and fill to specifications (MAX fill line), if required Visually check all underhood components Check for fluid leaks & chafed/pinched wiring Check tire pressure and inflate to 40 psi (275 kPa) front, 49 psi (340 kPa) rear Set at outside ambient temperature Visually check all under-vehicle components Check for fluid leaks & chafed/pinched wiring Inspect hydraulic brake lines for chafing/interference with ESS Install Loose Items Install other loose ship items supplied with vehicle (where applicable) Functional Checks and Set-Up Check instrument cluster gauges for proper operation, record ESS range displayed: miles/km Confirm instrument cluster wake-on-charge operation Charge ESS to at least 95% SOC Road Test Power up vehicle and check Electro-Hydraulic PAS & vacuum assist operation, check driveability Check for squeaks and rattles, vibration and wind noise Check steering control for proper alignment and steering wheel centering Check gearbox for noise, parking pawl function, and correct gear selector position Check speed control (if equipped) Check heater, air conditioner, defroster, ventilation and electric cooling fan systems Appearance Place necessary owner publications in vehicle Include both AZD and Ford documents See the AZD Service Documentation (AZDtec.com) or AZD Owner's Guide Supplement for specifications and details on performing any EV procedures or for descriptions and operation of the EV vehicle features All repairs found necessary during this pre-delivery inspection must be completed prior to delivery of the vehicle Dealership authorized personnel in the service department should perform appropriate diagnostics and warranty repair (if applicable) per AZD service publication procedures and warranty policies See AZD Warranty and Policy Manual for directions on submitting Transportation or Warranty claims, repairs not meeting this criteria are the responsibility of the Dealership, or of Ford Motor Company as per the Ford Warranty policy for the Glider components of the Transit Connect Electric vehicle Dealer Name: Dealer Sales Code: By signature below, I certify that all items on this sheet have been inspected on this vehicle in accordance with all applicable procedures and all necessary operations have been performed by a service technician I confirm that all open recalls and field service actions have been completed I understand that it is a Sales and Service Agreement requirement to maintain this record in the Dealer's vehicle service file Dealer Authorized Signature: _ Date Pre-Release - Draft Technician Signature: _ Date TC-BEV 2011 PDI Checklist 10.11.05
