A/ REPORTED SPEECH ( CÂU T ƯỜNG THUẬT) 1) Reported speech : lời nói gián tiếp, dùng để tường thuật lại lời nói của người khác 2) Nếu đông từ trong mẹnh đề chính ở thì hiện tại đơn (say) , hiện tại hoàn thành ( have/has said ) họăc tương lai đơn(Will say) thì trong mệnh đề phụ ( mệnh đề trích dẫn ) ta chỉ thay đổI đại từ EX : Mary says , “ I hope it will sun tomorrow” Mary says that she hopes it will sun tomorrow 3) Nếu đông từ trong mệ nh đề chính ở thì simple past (said ) thì trong mệnh đề phụ ( mệnh đề trích dẫn ) ta thay đổi thì,đại từ.cụm từ chỉ v ị trí, th ời gian 4) Muốn đổi từ câu trực ti ếp sang câu gi án tiếp ta cần lưu ý 1 s ố thay đổi sau : a) Thay đổi động từ trực tiềp (Direct speech) gián tiếp (Indirect speech) v í d ụ 1. hiện tại đơn 2. hiện tạI tiếp diễn 3. quá khứ đơn hiện tạI hoàn thành 4. quá khứ ti ếp di ễn 5. thì tương lai quá khứ đơn quá khứ ti ếp di ễn quá khứ hoàn thành quá khứ hoàn thành tiềp diễn  tương lai trong quá khứ He said “ I feel sick “  He sais that he felt sick He said “I’m writing a letter” He said that he was writing a letter He said “ I have been this film ” He said that he had been that film He said “ I was living in Italy” He said that he had been living in Italy He said “ I shall go to HCM city ” He said that he should go to HCM city * Có thể dùng thì hiện t ại đơn thay cho thì quá khứ đơn khi di ễn t ả : - Một th ói quen Ex: Mary said “ I’m used to working late every morning” “ I work late every morning  Mary said that she works late every morning - Một ch ân l ỳ Ex: Mary said “ The sun rises in the East ”Mary said that the sun rises in the East b) thay đ ổi tính từ và trạng từ: Direct speech Indirect speech This That These Those Here There Now Then Today That day Yesterday The day before Tomorrow The day after Ago Before Next week The week after 5)các loại câu gián ti ềp : a) câu mệnh lệnh : đông tứ trong mẹnh đề chính : order, command , tell, ask, request……. Ex: “ Hurry up , Lan “ He said to Lan  He told Lan to hurry up Ex: “ Don’t leave the room ” He said to them  He ordered them not to leave the room Ex: “ please, , don’t close the door “ Mary said to him  Mary asked him not to close the door b) Câu hỏi : + Câu hỏi yes/ no: đông tứ trong mẹnh đề chính : ask .inquire, wonder (t ự h ỏI) Ex: “ Have you seen that film ” He asked her  He asked her if she had seen that film Ex: “ will you be here tomorrow” He asked me  He asked me If I would be there the day after + Câu hỏi WH : đông tứ trong mẹnh đề chính :ask , require . wonder . want to know……. Ex: “ What time does the film begin “ He asked me  He asked me What time the film began c) câu cảm thán : đông tứ trong mẹnh đề chính : Exclaim Ex: “ What a lovely garden they have ! ” He said  He exclaimed What a lovely garden they had Ex: “ How hot it is !” He said  He exclaimed How hot it was d) câu phát biểu : đông tứ trong mẹnh đề chính : say . tell Ex: Mary said to me “I will visit you tomorrow“ Mary told me she would visit me the day after * đông tứ trong mẹnh đề chính ở câu trực tiếp : say to + tân ngữ  gi án ti ếp tell + tân ngữ 6) một số trương hợp đặc biệt : mệnh đề chính thì quá khứ đơn nhưng mệnh đề trích dẫn không thay đổi thì a) động từ trong lời trich dẫn có thời gian xác đ ịnh : Ex: He said “I was born in 1980 ”  He said he was born in 1980 b) câu điều ki ện loại 2,3 Ex: He said to me “ If I were you , I wouldn’t come here “  He told me that If he was you , he wouldn’t come there c) mong ước ở quá khứ Ex: He said “ I wished I was a child ”  He said he wished he was a child d) lời trich dẫn có could, should, might, used to, ought to, would rather, had better Ex: Tom said to me “ you had better not meet her ” Tom told me I had better not meet her e )diễn tả 1 chân l ý B/ REPORTED SPEECH WITH INFINITIVE 1) Form : To + Vinf NOT TO + Vinf 2) các loại câu gián tiếp với động tư nguyên mẫu a) mệnh lệnh , y êu cầu : đông tứ trong mẹnh đề chính : warn.
