Tình hình chung: - Năm học 2008- 2009 nhà trờng có nhiều nét đổi mới và thuận lợi sau: + Số lợng giáo viên đầy đủ, đạt chuẩn và trên chuẩn, đội ngũ giáo viên vững về chuyên môn, đoàn kết, giúp đỡ lẫn nhau cùng vơn lên nâng cao tay nghề. + Là năm học gập thuận lợi nên về mặt cơ sở vật chất trờng có đầy đủ và đảm bảo cho giáo viên và học sinh đảm bảo cho việc học và dạy. + Đợc sự quan tâm sát sao của các cấp ngành lãnh đạo của địa phơng và phòng giáo dục. II. Những khó khăn chung học sinh Thiệu Nguyên có một phần không nhỏ là con em , bố mẹ làm thơng ngghiệp, nên thời gian phụ huynh giành cho con cái còn ít. Các em tiếp xúc với nhiều các trò chơi nên cha ham học Số học sinh yếu kém vẫn còn. III. Tình hình bộ môn: Tiếng Anh lớp 6 là chơng trình đầu cấp, là nền móng để các em tiếp thu, phát triển chủ đạo ở kỹ năng giao tiếp. - Bớc đầu làm quen với môn học các em cần có đủ sách vở củng nh sự chuyên cần, ham hiểu biết. * Thuận lợi của môn học: Vì đây là năm đầu tiên trong chơng trình Tiếng Anh THCS, nên xét về mặt kiến thức cũng đang còn đơn giản giúp các em dễ tiếp thu và tâm lý cũng rất thích học ngay từ bớc đầu tiên. Tổ chuyên môn Tiếng Anh tơng đối đều tay ham học hỏi, đoàn kết giúp nhau cùng tiến bộ, luôn luôn phấn đấu nâng cao tay nghề, phê và tự phê cao. * Những khó khăn của môn học. 1 Trờng THCS Thiệu Nguyên Giáo viên Trần Thị Mai Tiếng Anh lớp 6 là môn học các em phần lớn mới đợc tiếp xúc ở lớp 6, nên cũng không tránh khỏi việc một số em cha biết cách học và còn rất bỡ ngỡ với môn học. - Lớp 6 chính là nền móng để tạo điều kiện cho các em tiếp thu những năm học kế tiếp. - Bộ kênh hình của lớp 6 không đợc cấp dẫn đến việc thiếu đồ dùng cho việc giảng dạy các em học sinh. - Băng không có, mà sử dụng đĩa sẽ rất bất tiện cho môn học. - Cơ sở vật chất của trờng còn thiếu nên phòng học chức năng còn đang sơ sài cha đảm bảo cho việc học riêng môn nghe nhìn. - Lớp 6A là một lớp bán công chất lợng cao của trờng nên tôi mạnh dạn đa ra những chỉ tiêu phấn đấu nh sau cho năm học 2007 2008. Tuân thủ theo phơng pháp dạy mới Dạy học theo phơng pháp thực hành giao tiếp - Giúp học sinh biết tổng hợp kiến thức để nói đợc những gì các em học, giúp các em biết đỡ sợ và ngại học ngoại ngữ. - Chấm trả bài đúng theo phân phối chơng trình. - Không ngừng tìm ra phơng pháp dạy tối u để đạt kết quả cao trong giảng dạy. - Sử dụng tối đa và có hiệu quả đồ dùng giảng dạy. 2 Trờng THCS Thiệu Nguyên Giáo viên Trần Thị Mai - Đoàn kết mọi thành viên trong tổ giúp nhau cùng tiến tbộ và nâng cao tay nghề. - Sử dụng triệt để đồ dùng tự làm, khuyến khích các em học sinh làm đồ dùng học tập. - Lắng nghe ý kiến chân thành của các đồng nghiệp đi trớc. - Tránh mắc phải những khuyết điểm về chuyên môn. - Có tinh thần phê và tự phê cao.
