(một cách nhanh chóng, chậm chạp, hay lười biếng ) Chúng để trả lời câu hỏi với How? Ví dụ: He runs fast She dances badly I can sing very well Chú ý: Vị trí trạng từ cách thức thường đứng sau động từ đứng sau tân ngữ (nếu có tân ngữ) Ví dụ: She speaks well English [không đúng] She speaks English well [đúng] I can play well the guitar [không đúng] I can play the guitar well [đúng] II Cách thành lập trạng từ thể cách Đa số trạng từ thể cách thành lập cách thêm"LY"vào sau tính từ (adj): Ví dụ: careful (adj) + ly = carefully (adv) beautiful (adj) + ly = beautifully (adv) Những tính từ tận là"Y"mà trước phụ âm ta đổi"Y"thành"I"rồi thêm"LY" Ví dụ: heavy (adj) + ly = heavily (adv) VnDoc - Tải tài liệu, văn pháp luật, biểu mẫu miễn phí angry (adj) + ly = angrily (adv) Những tính từ tận là"LE", ta bỏ"E"và thêm"Y" Ví dụ: noble (adj) – nobly (adv): cách cao quí terrible (adj) – terribly (adv) Một số trạng từ bất qui tắc: Ví dụ: good (adj) – well (adv) Có trạng từ giống y hệt tính từ:High, low, hard, better, fast III Vị trí trạng từ thể cách Trạng từ thể cách thường đặt sau nội động từ (intransitive verb) Ví dụ: She smiles coldly (Cô cười cách lạnh lùng) Trạng từ thể cách đặt sau túc từ trực tiếp (direct object) ngoại động từ (transitive verb) Ví dụ: You must take the test quickly in order to finish in time.(Bạn phải làm kiểm tra nhanh lên cho kịp giờ) Would you please give this letter directly to him.(Xin bạn vui lòng đưa trực tiếp thư cho ông ta) Trạng từ thể cách đôi lúc đứng chủ ngữ động từ muốn nhấn mạnh chủ ngữ động từ VnDoc - Tải tài liệu, văn pháp luật, biểu mẫu miễn phí Ví dụ: She angrily slammed the door (Cô giận giữ đóng sầm cửa lại) Khi túc từ câu dài, có mệnh đề quan hệ, ta đặt trạng từ trước động từ Ví dụ: The door quickly gave relief to the boy who had been hurt.(Bác sĩ nhanh chóng làm giảm đau cho cậu bé bị thương) Chú ý: không đặt trạng từ động từ túc từ Trạng từ"well"và"badly", dùng để đánh giá hành động, vị trí cuối câu mệnh đề Ví dụ: Mr Peter pays his staff very well (Ông Peter trả lương cho nhân viên hậu) B Động từ khuyết thiếu Should SHOULD dùng trường hợp sau: Làm động từ khuyết thiếu có nghĩa “nên” tương đương với ought to eg: You should what the teacher tells you People who live in glass houses should not throw stones (proverb) Dùng thay cho must không muốn diễn tả ý nghĩa bắt buộc với must eg: Members who want tickets for the dance should apply before September 1st to the Secretary VnDoc - Tải tài liệu, văn pháp luật, biểu mẫu miễn phí C Reported speech: (câu tường thuật): lời nói người thuật lại theo từ người thuật lại ko đổi ý lời nói ban đầu Quy tắc chung: mệnh lệnh, yêu cầu lời khuyên câu tường thuật thường đc diễn tả động từ mệnh lệnh theo yêu cầu hay lời khuyên theo cấu trúc a) Dạng xác định: S + verb of command/ advice + O + to-infinitive Ex: He said:"lie down, Tom > He told Tom to lie down b) Dạng phủ định: S + verb of command/ advice + O + not to-infinitive Ex: "Don't swim out too far", I said I warn the boys not to swim out to far c) Câu mệnh lệnh: Khi thuật lại mệnh lệnh ta thường dùng động từ tường thuật như: tell, order, command, urge, warn d) Câu yêu cầu: Lời yêu cầu gián tiếp đc dùng với động từ yêu cầu như: beg, tell, ask, invite, remind Câu trực tiếp thường có cầu trúc: Please +(do/ don't) + V Will/ would/ can/ could + S + (not) + V + O?
