Giới thiệu Sự phân bố hồ lục địa đà đợc nhà địa lý từ kỷ XVIII kỷ XIX, hồ lớn cuối đà đợc c nhà khoa học thám hiểm châu Phi khoảng 100 năm trớc: hồ Malawi (C Boccaro, 1616; D Livingstone, 1850), hå Victoria (J.H Speke, 1858), hå Albert (S Baker,1864), hå Edward (H Stanley, 1857), vµ hå Rudolf now Turkana (S Teleki Von Hohnel, 1888) lục địa khác, thám hiểm hồ đà đợc thực sớm: hồ Great Slave đà nhiều lý Các hồ nguồn tài nguyên nớc sẵn dàng (Soviet IHP 1978) Các hồ, khối nớc nông khác gọi đầm lầy, bao phủ hàng triệu km2 diện tích lục địa thành phần thiết yếu cân nớc khu vực (ví dụ vùng Trung á) toàn cầu (Soviet IHP 1978) Trong chu trình địa sinh hoá, hồ đợc xem nh kẻ điều chỉnh chu trình carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus thông qua trình khác nhau: trầm lắng vật liệu hữu vụn, tạo vật liệu hữu chỗ, giáng thuỷ carbonate, giáng thuỷ hạt dạng lỏng (Mulholland vµ Elwood 1982; Hammer 1986; Risacher 1992; Downing vµ ngời khác 1993; Meybeck 1993) Các hồ nhận đợc nh đặc trng trầm tích học vật liệu lu trữ đợc sử dụng để giải mà phát triển khí hậu cho hàng triệu năm gần (Loffler 1987; Gray 1988), nh mô hình để hiểu phát triển địa lý khứ nh khe nứt mở (Tiercelin Mondeguer 1991) Các hồ đà luôn đợc ác nhà sinh học nghiên cứu rộng rÃi, hầu hết sách nghiên cứu hồ đà đợc họ công bố, chẳng hạn nh chuyên luận nghiên cứu hå (Treatise of Limnology) cđa Hutchinson (1957), vÉn lµ mét sách tham khảo quan trọng cho nhiều vấn đề nghiên cứu hồ kể vấn đề không thuộc lĩnh vực sinh học Trong năm gần đây, mối quan tâm nhà sinh học nghiên cứu loài sinh vật đặc hữu hồ quy mô toàn cầu đợc liên kết chặt chẽ với phân bố, nguồn gốc, tuổi hồ Cuối cùng, điều tra số lợng hồ cần thiết hồ chắn đợc xem nh nguồn tài nguyên nớc bị nguy hiểm hoạt động ngời cần đợc bảo vệ giữ gìn Những điều tra số lợng hồ gần 25 năm trớc Liên Xô cũ, sau Scandinavia, Bắc Mỹ, nằm tiến trình nhiều khu vực châu Âu (EEA 1994) Tuy nhiên, tác giả xem xét toán quy mô toàn cầu Hutchinson (1957) Fairbridge (1968) trích dẫn Penck (1894) dới luận điểm Sự cố gắng điều tra số lợng toàn cầu gần Tamrazyan (1974), mà thực sự ngoại suy điều tra số lợng hồ chung Liên Xô Điều tra số lợng hồ toàn diện quy mô toàn cầu công trình Herdendorf (1982, 1984, 1990), gồm hồ lớn, tức hồ rộng 500 km2 tất 253 hồ Tamrazyan đà đánh giá toàn số lợng hồ đà lên tới số nhiều triệu Mục đích mục để: (1) xác định quy luật phân bố hồ quy mô địa phơng, khu vực, toàn cầu, tức phân bố lớp diện tích hồ, (2) nhận biết phân bố cụ thể cho loại hồ tuỳ theo nguồn gốc khác chúng, (3) nghiên cứu phân bố chúng tuỳ theo đặc trng khí hậu bản, (4) kiểm tra liên kết phân bố hồ, địa lý, địa mạo, (5) xem xét phân bố hồ gần địa lý khứ (từ thời kỳ băng hà cuối cùng) xem xét hồ tự nhiên 1.2 Vật chất cách tiếp cận tới nghiên cứu số lợng hồ toàn cầu 1.2.1 Dữ liệu sử dụng Với nghiên cứu định nghĩa hồ Bách khoa toàn th Anh quốc (1962) đợc sử dụng: "một khối nớc đặt vị trí hạ thấp mặt đất mà không liên thông trực tiếp với biển" Với hồ nhỏ nhiều (A0 < 0.1 km2) hồ châu thổ, có chuỗi liên tục hồ khối nớc mà lớp phủ thực vật liên tục thờng xuyên vùng đầm lầy Các hồ tự nhiên hồ mà đợc tìm thấy vị trí lõm xuống tự nhiên không đợc ngời đào bới, nh ao, không từ xây dựng nh đập ngăn nớc hồ chứa nhân tạo Một số quản lý môi trờng đà thiết đặt giới hạn thể tích hồ thấp cho nghiên cứu số lợng hồ, bậc 1000 m3 (1 acre-foot; R Wetzel,) Đây định nghĩa có hiệu lực quản lý hồ Tất nhiên biển Aral biển Caspian đợc xem nh hồ, nhng biển Baltic hay Hắc Hải mà có liên kết trực tiếp với đại dơng giới không Ba liệu đà đợc sử dụng: (1) nghiên cứu số lợng hồ lớn toàn cầu Herdendorf, (2) nghiên cứu số lợng địa phơng hay khu vực bao gồm hồ nhỏ (tức hồ có A0 < 10 km2), (3) sổ sách hồ tài liệu nghiên cứu hồ Tài liệu Herdendorf, đợc xuất theo dạng khác vào năm 1982, 1984, 1990, đà bao gồm tập hợp đầy đủ tất hồ có diện tích lớn 500 km2 (đợc định nghĩa "các hồ lớn") đa vị trí xác chúng, nguồn gốc hồ, diện tích, thể tích, chí độ muối, lúc thông tin có sẵn Nó bao gồm hồ nông và/hoặc mặn chủ đề cho sù thay ®ỉi kÝch th−íc lín nh− hå Eyre ë miÒn trung Australia, hay Tonle Sap (Grand Lac) ë Campuchia Tập hợp gần nh bao hàm toàn diện, trõ hå Sarykamish (1470 km2 theo Savvaitova vµ Petr 1992), tây nam biển Aral, dần Diện tích biển Aral Caspian đợc sử dụng giá trị mà Herdendorf đa giá trị từ thập niên 1950 trớc diễn hoạt động chủ yếu ngời Các nghiên cứu số lợng địa phơng khu vực đà
