What it is? How about this one? T writes the names of those cities on the board Eg: Hanoi Bangkok Kuala Lumpur Jakarta Beijing Presentation Phnom Penh * Questions – answers: We will listen to a dialogue between Hoa and Ba They are talking about some countries in Asia and their capital which Ba’s uncle usually flies to Check (v) the places in the list above if Ba’s uncle flies * Students check the lost of places while listening and reading the dialogue * Teacher asks students if there are difficult or new words and explains them if there are any Eg: pilot (using picture) Album (using real object) Practice Controlled (A1) * Students listen and repeat after the tape (class split in haft to play roles) * Pair work (practicing the dialogue in pairs and matching the haft sentences P.155) - Students compare their result and teacher corrects the mistakes if there are any - Some pairs perform before class Further A2 * T asks students to read the names of the capital cities (silently) and then complete the table with the right names of the countries in the box * Students compare their result and T gives correct answers T asks students to read again the dialogue (A1) and summarize the flights of Ba’s uncle Eg: Bangkok - usually Singapore – Sometimes Etc T demonstrates the dialogue with one student Where does Ba’s uncle fly to?
