Journalism as a career Journalism as a career Almost everyone who can read and write sometimes feels the urge to write on some favorite topic Some people however love writing so much that they spend much of their time writing something on various subjects for the sheer pleasure of writing Such people usually become skillful writers; and if the ability to write with ease and facility was enough to achieve success in the field of journalism, many people would make journalism their career In countries like England and Japan, where there are hundreds of newspapers and journals, journalism is an attractive profession It is very good source or income to many But in Malaysia there are so few newspapers and journals that journalism offers almost no prospect of success Even in England and Japan, however, many people have failed to achieve any success in this field To be successful in journalism, one must have many other qualities, besides the ability to judge what the average reader likes or dislikes If one writes for a political journal, he or she should have a fair knowledge of what the readers of that journal expect from it If one writes for a women’s journal, that person should know almost instinctively what its readers prefer Accordingly, the journalist should gather information from all possible sources for his articles and stories for publication He may even have to distort or omit certain facts and information, in which his judgment may appear unpleasant to his readers Further, if certain unpleasant facts have to be revealed to his readers, he has to employ words with such skill that his readers will take almost no offense All these require great intellectual qualities Besides, to collect information, the journalist has to travel extensively and meet many people, far and near As too much traveling involve great physical activity, the journalist has to pay sufficient attention to his health to keep himself strong He has also to cultivate pleasing habits to meet all sorts of people He must also be prepared to work under very unpleasant circumstances For example, if he is working for a popular newspaper, he may have to be at the scene or a battle and risk his life to send his report to his newspaper office All this involves great personal sacrifice Finally, a good journalist should have a good grasp of the constitutional rights of the citizens of his country and the policies of his government He should also know the laws of libel and slander Ignorance of any or these may lead him to make unfair criticisms and disclosures which may cause serious troubles in the country Thus, success in journalism is not easy to attain, and only a few people make it their career Báo chí nghiệp Báo chí nghiệp Hầu tất người đọc viết cảm thấy thúc để viết số chủ đề ưa thích Tuy nhiên số người thích viết nhiều mà họ dành nhiều thời gian họ viết chủ đề khác cho niềm vui tuyệt đối văn Những người thường trở thành nhà văn khéo léo; khả viết cách dễ dàng sở đủ để đạt thành công lĩnh vực báo chí, nhiều người làm cho báo chí nghiệp họ Ở nước Anh Nhật Bản, nơi có hàng trăm tờ báo tạp chí, báo chí nghề hấp dẫn Nó nguồn tốt thu nhập cho nhiều người Nhưng Malaysia có tờ báo tạp chí mà báo chí cung cấp triển vọng thành công Ngay Anh Nhật Bản, nhiên, nhiều người thất bại việc đạt thành công lĩnh vực Để thành công ngành báo chí, người ta phải có nhiều phẩm chất khác, bên cạnh khả phán xét người đọc trung bình thích hay không thích Nếu viết cho tạp chí trị, cô cần phải có kiến thức hợp lý độc giả tạp chí mong đợi từ Nếu viết cho tạp chí dành cho phụ nữ, người nên biết theo độc giả thích Theo đó, nhà báo nên thu thập thông tin từ tất nguồn cho báo tin cho ấn phẩm Ông chí làm sai lệch bỏ qua số kiện thông tin, phán đoán xuất khó chịu cho người đọc Hơn nữa, kiện định khó chịu phải tiết lộ cho độc giả mình, ông sử dụng từ có kỹ mà độc giả gần hành vi phạm tội Tất yêu cầu phẩm chất trí tuệ tuyệt vời Bên cạnh đó, để thu thập thông tin, nhà báo du lịch nhiều nơi gặp nhiều người, xa gần Khi du lịch nhiều liên quan đến hoạt động thể chất tuyệt vời, nhà báo phải ý đến sức khỏe để giữ cho mạnh mẽ Ông để trau dồi thói quen làm đẹp lòng đáp ứng tất loại người dân Ông phải chuẩn bị để làm việc hoàn cảnh khó chịu Ví dụ, ông làm việc cho tờ báo tiếng, anh có trường trận chiến mạo hiểm sống để gửi báo cáo đến văn phòng tờ báo Tất điều liên quan đến hy sinh cá nhân tuyệt vời Cuối cùng, nhà báo tốt nên có nắm bắt tốt quyền hiến định công dân đất nước sách phủ ông Ông nên biết pháp luật tội phỉ báng vu khống Sự thiếu hiểu biết dẫn để làm cho lời trích không công thuyết minh thông tin mà gây rắc rối nghiêm trọng nước Như vậy, thành công nghề báo không dễ dàng để đạt được, có vài người làm cho nghiệp họ
