Why people attend college or university Generally, attending university or college is a promising way for everybody who wants to be successful The fact is that people attend college or university for many different reasons First of all, people want to make preparation for their future jobs Universities are helpful environment for their student to practice necessary skills They provide not only knowledge for student but also soft skills such as communicative, cooperative skill and so on Moreover, colleges and universities qualify their students with new teaching methods that aren’t available at other training environments Therefore, the graduates will be equiped with many qualifications to become good employees Secondly, attending college and university brings a lot of experiences with various kind of people For many people, this is the first time they live away from their home Therefore, everything seems strange and new and they have to learn how to face with it Students will be more and more mature and they can probably make their own decision From now, they will have been more responsible for their self Besides, at college, you may make friend with many people, which makes your life more and more interesting You can join the clubs that are organised regularly to enjoy and gain experience Thirdly, getting college or university means that you can more and more expand knowledge in subjects you like At secondary school, what you study are general knowledge that at least everybody needs to know There are much knowledge that you haven’t known yet Therefore, college and university can give you what you are interested in and it is able to provide you with technologies and equipments that are essential for studying In summary,no matter what your reason for getting to college or university is, you need to study hard and improve your ability or none of your dreams come true
