(15pts) Blind people can read today thanks to the work of many diligent inventors. One of the first truly effective systems (46) enabling the blind to read was developed by Valentin Hauy, a Frenchman. He actually embossed the standard alphabet onto paper, i.e. it was punched alphabet.
