Before you read: (10 minutes) Aims: focus sts on the topic, revise and introduce the words and phrases used to talk about the hobbies. - Ask Ss to look at the pictures in the textbook and answer the question: What do you like doing in your free time? - Check the answers with the whole class. - Suggested answer: playing the guitar, playing computer games, collecting stamps, swimming , fishing, reading, singing, listening to music 2. While you read : Set the scene: You are going to read a passage about the writer’s hobbies. While you are reading, do the tasks in the book.
