Teaching procedure: Teacher s activities’ Student s activities’ 1. Warm-up - Introduce course book: Let’s learn English 1. Program and plan of this book. - Guide Ss what they need to prepare in an English class. - Lead in new lesson. 2. Presentation - Have Ss look at the picture then describe it in Vietnamese. - Introduce the context. - Have Ss look at the picture, listen to the tape then repeat. - Present new work and structure. - Read these words as the model then have Ss repeat. (Twice). - Listen -consist of 4 themes: + You and me + My school + My family + The world around us - There are 12 units - Each unit is studied in 4 lessons. - Time: 2periods\ a week - Student’s book, workbook, notebook, pen. 1. What are they doing?” - Introduce the context of the dialogue. - Play cassette - Present new structure - Have Ss practice the dialogue in pairs. - Call on some pairs to check. 3. Production. - Have Ss look at pictures then talk about them. - Give the task for listening. - Play cassette. - Call on some Ss to check. - Play cassette again and have Ss check their answer. * Tape script: 1.
