Presentation: * Pre - listening: - Ask Ss to look at 4 advertisements of “What’s on this week?” and guess the Ss to guess what is in the blanks2 - 3 - 4. - Set the scene& ask Ss to listen to the tape and fill in the blanks in each advertisement. * While - listening: - Ss listen to the tape three times and give the answers. - Give feedback. + Answers: a. The new comer. b. Town Ground. c. English Speaking contest. d. Culture house. - Ss read the statements in the Ex 2. - Get Ss to guess which is true, which is false and which has no information. - Ask Ss to listen to the tape again to do the Ex 2. - Ask them to share their ideas with their friends. - Give feedback. + Answers: a.
