I Introduction:

This project aims to analyze factors affecting university students'decision to choose FPT University Can Tho The research wasconducted using online survey method with 80 students studying atFPT Can Tho University To better understand the factors thatinfluence university students' decision to choose FPT University CanTho, the research team conducted this study.

1.Problem description:

Choosing a university is an important decision for every high schoolsenior This decision will affect each individual's academic, careerand life future.

Currently, there are many universities across the country, each withits own advantages and disadvantages Therefore, choosing the rightuniversity is not an easy matter.

As for FPT Can Tho University, this is a private university in Vietnam,known for its high training quality, modern facilities and dynamiclearning environment However, to better understand the factorsthat influence students' decisions to choose FPT Can Tho University,a specific study is needed.

2.Project goals:

The goal of this project is to understand the factors that influenceuniversity students' decision to choose FPT Can Tho University.Specific goals of the project include:

Through this research, we can better understand the importantfactors that students care about when choosing a university, therebyhelping FPT Can Tho University make appropriate adjustments inadmission work and training.

3.Response variable:

The main response variable of the study is "decision to choose FPTCan Tho University" This variable is measured using a 5-point Likertscale.

The 1-5 satisfaction scale is a scale used to rate a person's level ofsatisfaction with a product, service, or experience This scale isdivided into 5 levels, from 1 to 5, with the following meanings:

1 Very dissatisfied2 Dissatisfied3 Neutral4 Satisfaction5 Very satisfied

The higher the satisfaction level, the more satisfied the surveyparticipant is with the product, service or experience beingevaluated In the case of the survey question about factors affectingthe decision to choose a university, a satisfaction level of 1-5 is usedto evaluate the level of satisfaction of FPT Can Tho Universitystudents about the that factor For example, if a student rates theirsatisfaction with the school's training quality as 5, it means they arevery satisfied with the school's training quality.

4.The experimental factors considered in this studyinclude:

- Field of study: Which field of study do students choose?- Approach: From what source did you know about FPT Can Tho

Knowledge and skills: Are students satisfied with theknowledge and skills that you have been equipped with duringyour studies at FPT Can Tho University?

- Teaching staff: Do students receive support from lecturers andthe school during their studies?

II.Methods to collect primary data:

The research was conducted using quantitative research method, inwhich data was collected through an online survey with 80 studentsstudying at FPT Can Tho University In which, the proportion ofwomen accounts for 61.3%, the proportion of men accounts for38.8%.

The proportion of students in the 17th course accounts for the most95%, the proportion of students in the 16th course accounts for2.5%, the proportion of students in the 18th and 19th coursesaccounts for the same proportion rate 1.2%.

III Analysis results:

1.Source that you know about FPT University:

The statistical table shows that 80 people were asked about thesource they knew about FPT Can Tho University Among them, 31people (38.75%) knew about the school through advertising on socialnetworks, 30 people (37.5%) knew about the school through thewebsite, 39 people (48.75%) knew about the school through friends.Friends, relatives and 56 people (70%) knew about the schoolthrough admission consulting Thus, admission consulting is themost popular form of access, accounting for 70% of the total numberof students Next are friends, relatives (48.75%), advertising sites,social networks (38.75%) and websites (37.5%).

Below is some more specific analysis of the data in the statisticaltable:

 Admissions consulting: This is the most popular form of

access, accounting for 70% of the total student population.Therefore, FPT Can Tho University needs to continue to maintainand improve the quality of admission consulting activities.Specifically, the school needs to train a team of professionalcounselors, knowledgeable about the school and majors, andable to effectively advise and answer students' questions.

 Friends and relatives: This is the second most popular source

of information that people know about FPT Can Tho University.This shows that the school has a good reputation in thecommunity However, this rate may decrease if the school doesnot continue to maintain and improve training quality.

 Advertising on social networks: Social networking sites are

popular communication channels, attracting a large number ofstudents to follow Therefore, FPT Can Tho University needs to

strengthen activities to promote the school's image on socialnetworking sites Specifically, the school needs to buildfanpages, groups, Youtube channels, to introduce the school,majors, school activities, in a lively and attractive way.

 Website: This is the fourth source of information that people

know about FPT Can Tho University This shows that the schoolis building a quality website, providing complete informationabout the school However, this rate is still low compared toinformation sources through friends, relatives and advertising onsocial networks Therefore, the school needs to continue toimprove the content and interface of the website to attract morevisitors.

Based on this data, it can be seen that FPT Can Tho University needsto continue to maintain and improve the quality of admissionconsulting activities, enhance promotional activities on socialnetworks and websites to reach more people than In addition, theschool can also create some additional incentives for reaching outthrough friends and relatives who are alumni of the school to attractmore candidates.

2 Factors affecting university students' decision to chooseFPT University Can Tho:

 Very dissatisfied: There is 1 student (1.25%) who is verydissatisfied with the school's training program This is a very lowrate, showing that most students are satisfied with the school'straining quality.

 Very satisfied: There are 9 students (11.25%) who are verysatisfied with the school's training program This is a high rate,showing that students highly appreciate the school's trainingquality.

Thus, 85% of students are satisfied or very satisfied with the school'straining program This is a high rate, showing that students highlyappreciate the school's training quality.

Overall, the statistics show that students highly appreciate thetraining quality of FPT Can Tho University The school needs tocontinue to maintain and improve training quality to better meet theneeds of students.

Training of lecturers: The school needs to train lecturers to improvethe quality of teaching Lecturers need to be trained in professionalknowledge, teaching methods and communication skills.

In the data table above: 2 students (2.5%) rated it as unsatisfied, 22students (27.5%) rated it as neutral, 38 students (47.5%) rated it assatisfied and 18 students (22.5%) rated it as satisfied at a verysatisfactory level Thus, it can be seen that the level of satisfactionof FPT Can Tho students with the knowledge and skills they areequipped with is relatively high.

However, there are still some students who rate it as neutral orunsatisfied This shows that the school needs to continue to havesolutions to improve training quality and meet the needs of students.

The level of student satisfaction with the knowledge and skillsprovided is an important indicator reflecting the school's trainingquality A high level of satisfaction shows that students are equippedwith knowledge and skills suitable to real needs, meeting therequirements of the labor market.

To increase students' satisfaction with the knowledge and skills theyare equipped with, schools need to focus on the following solutions:

 Improving teaching quality: Lecturers are an important factordetermining the quality of training Therefore, schools need tofocus on improving the teaching quality of lecturers, includingprofessional knowledge, teaching methods and pedagogicalskills.

 Satisfaction: There are 42 students (52.5%) satisfied with theschool's facilities This is a high rate, showing that studentshighly appreciate the school's facilities.

 Very satisfied: There are 21 students (26.25%) who are verysatisfied with the school's facilities This is a high rate, showingthat students highly appreciate the school's facilities.

Thus, 77.75% of students are satisfied or very satisfied with theschool's facilities This is a high rate, showing that students highlyappreciate the school's facilities.

Overall, the statistics show that students highly appreciate thefacilities of FPT Can Tho University The school needs to continue tomaintain and improve the quality of facilities to better meet theneeds of students.
