Hamlet promises that he will do so without delay. However, he does delay. He is so careful when he find out which the ghost said is true or not. Secondly, Hamlet feigns madness/pretend to be mad to avoid suspicion and being murder. Even he behaves very strangely to Ophelia, his lover, and appears not to love her at all. It proves he is so smart, always thinks seriously about each step. Thirdly, after being quiet certain of Claudius guilt, but he still hesitates. Although he has opportunities to kill his uncle, he does not do that. The reason is he doesn’t want a soul of the king go to the heaven if he kills Claudius when the king is praying. In the other hand, Hamlet is man of action. When Hamlet talks to the queen, his mother and he recognizes there is a person hiding behind curtain, he turn quickly, draws his sword, and strikes at this man because he thinks this one is Claudius instead of Polonius, also his lover’s father. This action leads to the climax of “Hamlet”, Polonius’s death thus bad begin and worse remains behind. Hamlet is also ready to fight with Laertes- a son of Polonius in the “friendly fight”. At the end of the fight, Laertes, himself near the death, tells Hamlet about poison sword and wine, Hamlet rushes at the king and kills him. The unhappy ending of the play suggest the deadlock for a way out for the cursed reality of the feudal society and an unorganized individual struggles will end up failure; and in any situation, who hesitate will be loser. .
